We as a humanity have been on the wrong path for around half a century now. We’ve ignored the warnings science has given us and been blinded by greed and aimless consumerism, destroying the entire Earth in the process. While we still have time today, we may not in the following decades. When the globe becomes too hot, the waters too sully, the forests too sparse, what shall we do? These are the questions we need not be asking more of, but thinking of answers to. That is what the World Environmental Committee is for. A futuristic, hypothetical scenario builder and solver where delegates will work towards solving extinction level catastrophes brought on by our carelessness as humanity towards the environment. Delegates will work together and find a way to minimize harm and try to make the best out of the situation possible, as representatives with the power of nations, billion-dollar companies, or hugely influential organizations behind them. When all else fails, it will take the best in their fields.
