The International Criminal Court’s (ICC) main function is to defend the rights of the people affected by the decisions of international leaders. The ICC is composed of four main organs being the presidency, the judicial division, the office of prosecution and the registry. In this committee, the crimes charged are genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes of aggression. ICC is solely based on the Rome Statute which is confirmed of 128 articles explaining the charges. The ICC is a branch of the International Court of Justice, one of the main organs of the United Nations. In this committee, the judges will debate and decide if the accused is innocent or guilty based on evidence provided by the prosecutors and the defense counsel. Instead of writing a position paper or researching a case, judges are required to write a bibliography about their assigned judge and his liberal and consecutive ideologies.
