The United Nations Emergency Children’s Fund (UNICEF) aids children all around the world to have their rights and basic needs met. Since 1946, it has worked internationally to achieve this, and is currently working with 190 countries around the world. Not only does UNICEF help children, this committee is also taking action to aid mothers and nurse their development. “Child Protection, inclusion, child survival, education, emergencies, gender, innovation for children, supply, logistics, research and analysis” (unicef.org) are considered the aspects this institution pursues to accomplish.
