Nuremberg Trials

After WWII, the people responsible for the crimes committed during the Holocaust were brought to trial in Nuremberg, Germany. The trials took place from 1945 to 1946. Judges from the allied powers directed the hearings for the axis power criminals.  The Nuremberg trials are now regarded as a milestone toward the establishment of a permanent international court, and an important precedent for dealing with later instances of genocide and other crimes against humanity. Therefore the judges are required to write a biography of who they represent and their ideology during that time.
